It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever gives charity equal to a date from good (halal) earnings – for Allah does not accept anything but that which is good – Allah will take it in His right hand and tend it for the one who gave it as any one of you tends his foal, until it becomes like a mountain.” – Narrated by al-Bukhari, 1344; Muslim, 1014
Sadaqah is a voluntary form of charity that is encouraged in Islam. It encompasses any act of kindness or generosity. Sadaqah is a simple act of Kindness, a generous gesture made with the intention of helping others.
This is a mandatory form of charity and one of the Five Pillars of Islam. It involves giving a fixed portion (usually 2.5%) of one's wealth. Zakat is one of the Five Pillars of Islam and is obligatory for Muslims who meet specific financial criteria.
Muslims are encouraged to give to causes such as providing clean water, healthcare, education, disaster relief, and more. Some times we help people for examples medical support to individuals/families who may not be classed as the poorest, however at a particular time in need they may require help.
Waqf refers to the endowment of a property, asset, or investment for charitable purposes.
This is compensation for missing Salah or Sawm (Fasts/Rozay) for a person who cannot perform them due to being in terminal illness or being deceased.
This is also known as Qurbani or sacrifice. It is Wajib upon all mature Muslims who, on the day of `Eid al-Adha, possess Nisab.
Providing loans without charging any interest is considered a form of charity in Islam. The lender helps those in need without seeking any financial gain. Our team will assess each case on its individual merit and agree a fixed term. One guarantor is required and a witness.
