Our Projects

Water Wells

Clean Drinking Water Project

There are many communities across many, many countries suffering with lack of clean drinking water. Through our foundation we are building wells in Sierra Leone, Uganda and Pakistan. So far we have completed a total of 301, consisting of 11 wells in Sierra Leone, 10 in Ghana and 280 bore holes with electric motors in Pakistan.

We can do more! A great gift and Sadqah Jariyah.

  • Pakistan – 400 feet approx bore, all material, labour and plaque either with hand pump (Nalka) or electric motor £550. Takes 1-2 weeks.
  • Sierra Leone – Deep bore approx. 200 feet (all hand dug), all material, labour and plaque £3200.00. Takes 8 weeks.

Sa’d ibn ‘Ubadah reported: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, my mother has died. Shall I give charity on her behalf?” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Yes.” I said, “Which charity is best?” The Prophet said, “A drink of water.”

PadMad Period Poverty

We have teamed up with PadMad!

Padmad is a Kenya-based social enterprise committed to eradicating period poverty and restoring dignity to those affected by inequality.

Working together we want to empower adolescent girls and women in underprivileged and marginalized communities by providing access to vital education, menstrual hygiene management, and affordable, biodegradable, reusable menstrual pads.

Building Homes for Widows

Widows or single parents don’t have a home to live in or the condition of their home is not safe and not habitable. We have helped many families to build a home. Small homes consisting of 2/3 rooms, washroom, kitchen, boundary wall. Each family will have different needs – so our Project Coordinator will investigate and draw up a plan and work out the construction requirements and costs.

For less than £3500

We have managed to build homes that changes lives, puts a roof over the head of children and vulnerable adults and gives them dignity.

Student Support Fund

We are currently helping 80 pupils across 3 local schools in the Chak Gujran Khurd area. We noticed many poor families could not afford school fees, school uniform or text books. State Schools would refuse teach them. Local young teachers set their own own schools up and offer these children an opportunity to learn. We help these pupils each month with their costs. For £20 per month you can sponsor a child at these schools.

We also support FSE, College students – if they can’t afford to go college and finance is a barrier we support them. Our Aim is to give the young generation of this community the chance of learning without Barriers!

Sadqah

Alhamdulillah we can distribute Sadqah in Medina.

Medical Support

Cost of operations and medicine is a burden that many families struggle with, this prevents check-ups and treatment. Our team on the ground will investigate each request and we prioritise the elderly, children and the orphans and we try our best cover medical cost for them. For example, eye operations, hip and knee operations we support. We want to help all genuine cases as best we can.

Free Homeopathic Clinic

Every Friday 8.30am until Jummah Adhan we offer free homeopathic medical checkups and medicine for the local people of Chak Gujran Khurd. Dr Matiullah Haq is a well-known practioner and with over 30 years’ worth of experience. This free clinic has been running for over 2 years and has been a valuable service to so many locals. Cost us £80 – £100 to run each Friday, this covers cost of the Dr, medicine and cleaner. Approximately 100 people attended each Friday, the feedback from so many local elders is priceless.

Business Set up & Support

“If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.” - Lao Tzu.

We want to help people develop and grow their small business. This will allow them to sustain themselves and not rely on handouts. Some of the examples we can help:

Sewing – Help purchase sewing machines, and other items/material someone may need to set up and start to take orders.

Riskshaw – Help purchase a rickshaw so people can earn income straightaway.

Livestock – We help widows with lamb/sheep/Goat that they look after, breed, sell and make money for themselves. Goat milk can be sold on and money earned.

Food Carts – Fruit, veg can be displayed on the cart, moved around area.

These small income generators give people creditability, help develop skills and gain valuable experience. Our team will vet people to see who is serious to work with us. We can help with the initial set up costs but looking for people who can take ownership of their own business and are willing to feedback to us weekly/monthly.

These can cost from £100 – £700 depending on the business. Get involved and help someone provide for their family.

Help us bring vital resources and life-changing support to people in need
