Charity Fun Day

Join us for the 4th Annual Charity Funday on Parkhouse Street, Shelton – a day dedicated to bringing our local community together for fun, food and fundraising! Over the past three years, this event has become a cherished tradition, where children, elders and families unite to create lasting memories while supporting meaningful causes.

The Funday is more than just a day of festivities; it’s a platform to bridge the gap between generations, reminding us to honour and cherish our elders who have paved the way for us. It’s an opportunity for the younger generation to connect, learn, and show appreciation for the wisdom and contributions of their elders, fostering values of respect and gratitude.

This year, our goal was to raise funds to build homes for widows and orphans in Pakistan. Thanks to the incredible generosity and support of our community, we exceeded expectations, raising over £8,000! This builds on the successes of previous years:

• In 2023, we raised funds for two ambulances to serve the villages of Chak Gujran Khurd and a village near Kallar Syedan, near Rawalpindi.
• Each year, local businesses sponsor the event, enjoying the dual benefits of community advertising and the heartfelt reward of giving back.

Expect a day filled with delicious food, exciting children’s activities, and a vibrant atmosphere of unity and purpose. Together, we’re not only celebrating our community but also making a real difference in the lives of those in need.
